Chapter 3: Friends

I have a lot of "things" in this world. Life has been good to me, and I have been afforded the luxury of lots of toys. But they all mean NOTHING. Here is whats really important.

The computer world, and the hours spent, years ago, typing and re-typing, and saving files to casettes, hours of disk copying, and zillions of "what happens if I do this?" taught us all a lot, and allowed me to make many great friends, most of which I still keep in contact with. I pride myself on having lots of friends, most of which have been my friends for 15 or more years. Watch out for someone that doesnt have long term friends.. somthing is up, or they are new on the planet. Most of my friends are so busy with life (read that as "lazy slack asses") That they dont even have a web page for me to provide a link to, so I'm forced to just show really old pics of what they *used* to look like. ha!

Friendship is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.
Muhammad Ali

It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.
